Our Capital Projects and Programme Advisory  team within Advisory helps the world’s leading organisations design and implement major infrastructure programmes and projects across a variety of markets and sectors. We are thus looking for candidates with exceptional client / market focuses and expertise that we can leverage into our clients. In particular, we are looking for Project / Programme Managers, Engineers, Surveyors and Commercial Managers with a strong insight into one or more of the following sectors: â–º Real Estate â–º Transport â–º Power & Utilities â–º Social Infrastructure â–º Oil & Gas â–º Other Infrastructure (e.g. Mining) To support and maintain our growth, we are currently seeking to recruit a number of candidates at the Senior Consultant/Manager level. We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate real impact within business and help transform projects and programmes on behalf of our clients. In particular, we are interested in candidates with a proven track record in any of the following, either within industry or another consultancy: â–º Managing large scale Projects and Programmes. â–º Providing advice and guidance on Projects and Programmes â–º Experience administering various forms of construction contract â–º Commercial and claims management â–º Auditing Projects and Programmes across industry sectors â–º Affinity to one of the following sectors – Real Estate, Transport, P&U, Social Infrastructure, O&G,    other Infrastructure. Academic Qualifications: â–º Primary Degree (2.1) or above, from a leading university â–º Relevant Professional Qualifications (e.g. CEng, MRICS/FRICS, Prince2, MSP,   ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA) Professional Experience Required: â–º Between 3-7 years of relevant professional experience, currently working in either a global    management consultancy or in industry with an appropriate programme management background Core Consulting Competencies: â–º Able to establish personal credibility with clients â–º Professional in conduct and demonstrates expertise in a number of technical areas. â–º Plans and coordinates own workload and that of other team members, meeting deadlines, quality and risk objectives. â–º Adds value by delivering work of the highest quality and is able to proactively overcome issues to ensure delivery â–º Finds logical or innovative solutions to complex or unusual Client problems â–º Continuously builds and masters key technical, functional and professional skills and is proactive in sharing / building knowledge within the team â–º Encourages collaboration and knowledge sharing that impact performance of team members. Client and people responsibilities will include the following: â–º Work within client-focused teams to provide commercial and financial advice, technical input and   client support as required. â–º Be involved in 2 or 3 projects at any one time â–º Interpret and understand complex data sets and financial models, and produce clear analysis to support client needs. â–º Analyse and evaluate proposals/bids received for projects on behalf of project sponsors. â–º Lead the development of reports, presentations and other key work products. â–º Proactively pursue technical and personal development â–º Demonstrate commercial awareness and understanding of the client agenda with examples of this reflected in findings and work. â–º Support senior team members in developing service offerings and business development opportunities. Senior manager – Emerging Markets – Africa – M&A

As a Mergers &Acquisition (M&A) Senior Manager, you’ll lead M&A engagements. Working unsupervised and managing small teams, you will be required to meet with clients understand their needs including the nature and structure of the transactions. You will be required to understand the key business drivers, identify key issues and risks / conclusions and providing value to the client through insights, factual conclusions and advice and actively participate at meetings with clients and other advisers throughout the transaction process Your responsibilities will also include maintain good relationships with key equity investors and financial institutions. You will be required to written communication skills to deliver high-quality client-focused documentation including Information Memorandum and Presentations. You will also play an important role in new business development including marketing, proposal preparation and follow up. You will be required to manage assignment quality and risk on a day-to-day basis; manage, coach and develop client service team members and to identify opportunities for the firm generally across their client base. Drawing on your experience, you’ll assist in managing engagement economics by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders, ensuring that work complies with our Quality & Risk Management (Q&RM) procedures. You’ll also participate in business development initiatives. Other non client related roles would include working effectively as a team member by demonstrating your commitment to quality, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress. As a Manager, you will be required to help create a positive learning culture and will coach and counsel junior team members and support their development.
